ICMQ (Institute for Certification and Quality Mark), is a leading Italian certification body which was started in 1998 with the clear mission of promoting quality, durability and sustainability in the realms of building products and construction. The company, which is headquartered in Milan, works solely in the field of construction.

ICMQs members include all the Italian associations of companies involved in the construction business. These members include producers, consumers, academics and designers. Our members also include three Italian ministries (Economic Development, Infrastructure and Environment), ENEL (Italian Energy Board) and the Italian Railways.

ICMQ has always believed in using the most innovative technologies. The company works in conjunction with a strong network of research and technical bodies which enables cutting-edge processes across Europe, USA and India. ICMQ is also a member of IQNet, the worldwide association for certification bodies. ICMQ India aims to support growing business relationships between Indian and Italian companies in the construction and building material industries.

Since its inception, ICMQ has aimed to achieve accreditation in the countries in which it operates. In Europe, ICMQ is accredited for Management System Certification, Product Certification, Third Party Inspection and various other certifications. According to the same strategy, ICMQ India is accredited as a certification body for Quality Management System (NABCB); it has been approved as a Third Inspection Body for infrastructure projects (QCI) and it has an accredited Lead Auditor course for Quality Management System.
