The Electro Mechanical Projects and Packaged Air-conditioning Systems segment engages in the design, manufacture, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of central air conditioning plants, packaged/ducted systems, and VRF systems.

The Professional Electronics and Industrial Systems segment provides trading and services for testing machines, medical, analytical, test and measuring, data communications, industrial products, and systems. Its corporate and commercial markets include institutional, industrial, and government organizations, as well as commercial establishments, such as malls, multiplexes, hotels, hospitals, showrooms, restaurants, and boutiques. Blue Star sells its products through a network of dealers. The company was founded in 1943 and is headquartered in Mumbai, India.
