The Company was originally a 100% subsidiary of IDEA (International Development and Engineering Associates Limited) and has reputed customers in India and abroad. BBSPL is also a 100% Export Oriented Unit and is registered with the Software Technology Park of India (STPI).

BBSPL primarily handles projects in Process, Power and Manufacturing Sectors. In the manufacturing sector, BBSPL has exclusive focus in CAD / CAM based engineering and design using high end software like XSTEEL, CATIA, Solid Edge, COSMOS, hypermesh etc. The Company is ISO 9001:2000 certified by TUV and has competent technical personnel with International design and engineering exposure. The Company has state-of-the art computing and communication facilities to cater to the latest technological requirements of customers.

BBSPL is located in Chennai, the strategic business hub of Southern India and which is well connected to all major International Locations. BBSPL has subsidiaries and affiliates in the United States and Germany which are primarily utilized for offshore Project Management.
