Modern Petrofils (MPF) Polyester Filament Yarn plant was set up in 1994 in technical collaboration with Zimmer AG of Germany. It is a fully integrated plant having Polymerization to Texturized yam manufacturing and dyed yarn manufacturing facilities all under one roof. It is the largest unit of the Modern group. It has an installed capacity of 77000 Tons Per Annum for manufacturing of POY / chips and texturized yam. The plant is presently working at 130% capacity utilization with foreign exchange earning of about Rs. 50 crores, which makes it as the third largest manufacturer of polyester in India.
