UNICONNECT was established in 1983 as an investment vehicle, however, it eventually moved into the emerging telecom sector. Since 1996, this entry in the field has been achieved by successfully distributing mobile connections in bulk for local networks. This diversification is the brainchild and entrepreneurship of Mr. Tarun Kumar Bhartia. A new business niche of International Roaming was identified by him in the year 2000 to supersede the local telecom distribution business. By virtue of continuous innovation in service, global coverage and absorption of technology in collaboration with leading Telecom networks outside India, we have stayed ahead.

As the Managing Director, Mr. Tarun Kumar Bhartia has overall operational responsibility on a full time basis. He has regular support from the Chairman who has a rich and diversified experience of over four decades in large industrial houses at a senior position. The Chairman is currently Advisor to an established business group, apart from being an Independent Director on the board of several Public Limited Companies. The Chairmans guidance and advice is always availed for strategic planning and key decisions.

Ms. Priyanka, a marketing professional with an outstanding track record in business analysis and media, heads business development activities of the company. UNICONNECT, headquartered in Mumbai has branches in India's metro's including Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Pune.
